“I have two tiny chihuahuas and they usually nibble at food all day. With Barney & Boots they finish their bowls right away.”

“Fudd goes nuts for it. He’s a big, high-energy dog and this has been the first food where he actually gets mad when i dont open another. His coat looks great, his energy is through the roof, and it’s just obvious he’s doing really well on it.”
Evan — Fudd, 80 lb Newfypoo

“I started making my own dog food a while back because I couldn’t stand feeding kibble anymore. When my dog tried Barney & Boots he loved it immediately. Honestly, it’s the first dog food I’ve seen that looks like something you’d cook for yourself.”
Marty — Pete, 90 lb Labrador

Reviews

My dogs love it, but

"My dogs love it, but I do watch calorie count. I find it easiest to cut the pouch across the middle to get all the food out."

Diane M. (5/5)

Honest food, honest company

"The website is straightforward, the subscription was easy to set up, and the food looks like what it says it is. Rocky's doing well. That's all I need."

Dana (4/5)

My vet actually approved

"Asked my vet before switching and she looked up the brand and said it looked solid. Luna has been on it for six weeks and everything checkd out at her last appointment."

Sofia (5/5)

Digestion improved a lot

"Pepper used to have a pretty gurgly stomach on her old food. She's been on the chicken blend for about five weeks now and it's calmed way down. Vet noticed too."

Nina (5/5)

Worth the price if you care

"Look it's more expensive than kibble. But I also spend money on good food for myself and I figure Gus deserves the same consideration. He's been doing great on it."

Leroy (4/5)

Switched from raw and don't regret it

"Was doing raw for two years and it got to be a lot. This feels like a reasonable middle ground. Archer transitioned easily and hasn't looked back."

Theo (5/5)

Simple ingredient list means a lot

"I have a hard time trusting dog food brands. the ingredient list here is short and makes sense. nothing to hide. Duke seems to agree."

Ben (5/5)

Great for my two small dogs

"My yorkies Coco and Pip share a subscription. Both finish their bowls completely which never used to happen. Love that the portions are calculated for each dog separately."

Amanda (5/5)

My senior dog loves it

"Biscuit is 11 and has been slowing down a lot. She's been eating this for a month and her energy on walks is noticeably better. Can't say it's a miracle but it's something."

Mei (5/5)

Dogs can tell the difference

"Switched from a "premium" kibble and the difference in how excited Waffles gets at meal time is honestly kind of embarrassing. She used to ignore her bowl for hours."
